This is SO GOOD. You must try it! This vegan shake is delicious and is only sweetened by the banana and a tablespoon of maple syrup (even the almond milk is unsweetened.) I wish we can take credit for the recipe, but it’s from www.detoxinista.com. She’s a genius! Check out my little sister’s reaction at the taste test…so funny!

No-Guilt Chocolate-Banana-Peanut-Butter-Milkshake

Ingredients
  1. 2 frozen very ripe bananas
  2. 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  3. 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  4. 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  5. pinch of sea salt
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup
  8. (optional) 7 ice cubes - if you want a frostier, milder shake
Instructions
  1. Throw all the ingredients into a high-powered blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.

    This sounds delicious, but the ‘No guilt’ title is a bit misleading…the whole shake has over 740 calories, 36 grams of fat, and 45 grams of sugar!

      Thanks for your comment! We didn’t do a nutritional analysis, but it might help to know that this whole shake makes many servings – about 4. Also, it uses natural ingredients, so even though nut butters are high in calories, for example, your body knows what to do with it! 🙂
