I visited Q13 FOX News to share my Favorite Fish Taco with Creamy Pico de Gallo and Crunchy Coleslaw recipe – because it has been HOT this summer, and this is the perfects summer meal! This meal only requires a grill, so your house can stay nice and cool. This is a huge go-to meal for my family!

Favorite Fish Tacos
This is one of my favorite meals! Whenever we make it, we eat all of it! I've had friends over and they have all loved it too. It's super simple, healthy, and SO tasty! I really hope you give it a try.
  1. 1 pound white flaky fish, such as cod
Fish Marinade
  1. 1/4 cup grape seed oil
  2. 1 lime, juiced
  3. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Pico De Gallo
  1. 1 avocado, chopped into chunks
  2. 2 cups of tomatoes, chopped
  3. 1/4 cup red onion, diced small
  4. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  5. Lime juice, about 3 tablespoons (1 juicy lime)
  6. 1/2-1 tsp of salt, to taste
Cabbage Slaw
  1. Red cabbage, shredded thin
  2. 2 Tbs mayo
  3. Juice of 1 lime
  4. Chopped cilantro
  5. Salt
Sauteed Onion and Bell Pepper
  1. Onion, sliced
  2. Bell pepper, sliced
  3. Salt
  4. Pepper
Other Garnishes
  1. Limes to squeeze on tacos
  2. Chopped cilantro
  3. Pico de gallo
  4. Cabbage slaw
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place fish in a medium size dish. Whisk together the oil, lime juice, and cilantro and pour over the fish. Let marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the fish from the marinade place onto a hot grill, flesh side down. Grill the fish for 4 minutes on the first side and then flip for 30 seconds and remove. Let rest for 5 minutes then flake the fish with a fork.
  3. Place the corn tortillas on the grill and grill for 20 seconds. Divide the fish among the tortillas and garnish with any or all of the garnishes.
